He seems to have another piece of equipment I did not see the day before out there each practice. Linebacker coach Dustin Royston, new to the linebacker room after shifting over from defensive line in the offseason, is constantly tinkering with his drills day to day.But all four quarterbacks - Nicholas Vattiato, Chase Cunningham, Kyle Lowe and DJ Riles - seem comfortable with the scheme. Of course, the coaches know better than I do if they did miss a read. While they might miss a throw on occasion, I'm not sure I've seen them miss a read yet. The air raid scheme run by offensive coordinator Mitch Stewart has clearly clicked with his quarterbacks. The interior pressure in particular has been something I hope carries over into the regular season. The defensive line, as expected, is dominant early in camp, though a young offensive line has done a good job making them less dominant each day.I've seen so many spectacular catches and pass breakups already this camp, including a catch from Jaylin Lane where he caught the ball by, I'm assuming, just barely seeing the ball behind the DB's back on the play.

MT Football has been hard at work behind Floyd Stadium this week, as fall camp got into full swing after move-in last Tuesday.
